Apply for site and site number
Create a new site with a site number. You can register the site as a waste generating company or a waste disposal facility. Your request will be processed by the relevant cantonal office.

Edit your site's information and waste codes. All changes need to be verified by the relevant cantonal office.

To be able to export waste abroad, you must register your company as an exporter, unless you already have a waste disposal facility or a waste generating company.

Change the data entered for your exporter. All changed data will be checked by the FOEN.

Annual waste reporting
Submit your site’s annual report for waste not subject to regulatory controls (nk) and for other waste subject to regulatory controls without mandatory accompanying documentation (ak). This information must be submitted every year and is checked by the cantonal offices.
Annual waste report for several sites
This service is available to all organisations and their registered users. If an inspectorate is responsible for a site, only the users of the inspectorate can use the service. The annual waste report must be recorded for the waste categories (nk) and (ak).

You can analyse your data of annual waste report data according to canton, organisation and reporting period. Analyses can be exported to Excel.

Services for cantons
Here you will find services that are exclusively for cantonal employees.
Set administrator
Set an administrator for a site as a cantonal employee. The administrator then receives all the necessary rights for the defined organisation associated with the site.
Overview of annual waste report status
As a canton, create an overview of which sites have received overdue notices for their annual waste reports. You can export the overview as an Excel file.
Approve waste report for the FOEN
On 1 May, the cantons are sent a request to approve the companies' annual waste reports (nk) and (ak). The cantons must provide this information by 30 June. They can approve the annual waste reports for the FOEN in one batch.
Evaluate all waste codes of waste disposal facilities
With this service, users registered as cantonal employees can call up a report on the approved sites.
