Request a 1xy short number

Service description

You can request a 1xy short number to provide an emergency call service, air rescue service or safety information service.

Please note the following when ordering a 1xy short number:

  • The service must be available at all times (24/7/365) throughout all of Switzerland and in the three official languages (German, French and Italian).
  • OFCOM publishes the available and allocated 1xy short numbers and the addresses of their holders via its service Search for short numbers.
